Today we got our in China itineraries. Looks like our Gotcha Day is going to be November 8, not November 9. One more day with our girl!
All we need now is our Notice of Travelling to China for Adoption. Hopefully, the agency gets them by Friday.
No Galactic Peace International Hotel this time. :-( Instead we are at the Gloria Grand. I guess this agency uses that hotel when in Nanchang. I've heard it is quite nice too. I can't imagine it is as amazing as our galactic home away from home...but we'll see.
To lighten our load a little bit, I bought a new toy--a netbook. It is a tiny HP Mini 110 running Windows 7. It only weighs 1.3kg so it won't weigh us down as much as the laptop did last time.
So much packing to do. So little time...

We were so tempted to buy a netbook too but went the laptop route instead. Claire still begs for a netbook: "It's just my size!"
I'm sure the Gloria Grand will be ... grand (!) but for nostalgia alone, I wish you were staying at the Galactic Peace!

Wow, wow, wow! It's getting so close and now even closer with the surprise of an earlier Forever Family Day!
We're so excited and just can't wait to see Elspeth! How about a 6-way Skype video conference on your new computer about an hour after you have her in your arms? :)

You must be thrilled to be meeting Elspeth a day earlier than planned! I loved the Galactic Peace Hotel but it will be nice for you to make new memories at Gloria. Maybe you'll have to do the morning buffet at Galactic one day just for nostalgia!
