We had our appointment to get our H1N1 and seasonal flu shots this morning. Pat actually had his H1N1 shot on Wednesday so he just got the seasonal today. I got both today.
Unfortunately, Miss Maeve has a fever (but not H1N1) so she could not have her shots today. We've got an appointment for Monday for her. Hopefully our doctor gets a new supply of vaccine by then.
When the doctor said no shot for her today, she suddenly perked up and was bouncing around his exam room. Doesn't miss a thing that one.
The count down continues...

Just one more document to go!
Today we got our in China itineraries. Looks like our Gotcha Day is going to be November 8, not November 9. One more day with our girl!
All we need now is our Notice of Travelling to China for Adoption. Hopefully, the agency gets them by Friday.
No Galactic Peace International Hotel this time. :-( Instead we are at the Gloria Grand. I guess this agency uses that hotel when in Nanchang. I've heard it is quite nice too. I can't imagine it is as amazing as our galactic home away from home...but we'll see.
To lighten our load a little bit, I bought a new toy--a netbook. It is a tiny HP Mini 110 running Windows 7. It only weighs 1.3kg so it won't weigh us down as much as the laptop did last time.
So much packing to do. So little time...

We're Packing Our Bags
Our beautiful second daughter awaits us in Feng Cheng, Jiangxi, China. We are thrilled to say that Elspeth's Gotcha Day will be November 9, 2009!
When Maeve was in a foster home in Xinyu she shared her life with two beautiful foster sisters. We believe that experience has left lots of room in her heart for a mei mei (little sister). She can hardly wait to meet Elspeth and begin sharing everything—though the reality of having to share Mom and Dad along with her toys and bedroom might be more than Maeve's ready for!
So now we have a million things to do before we get on a plane, November 4th. We're going to take a few days in Shanghai to do a little sight seeing and adjust to the time zone before we meet Elspeth. Hopefully Maeve will be okay on the LONG plane trip!

A = Nanchang, where we first met Maeve
B = FengCheng, where Feng Nian Yu (Elspeth) awaits us
C = Xinyu, where Yu Cai Ling (Maeve) spent her first 10 months of life
